Harvest Home

Harvest Home Cover Harvest Home: Celebrated in the autumn, at various times. For modern celebrants who are not directly farmers the autumnal equinox would suffice. The last of the crops, especially rye, is not taken but tied in a bundle and left in the field, for Odin or for his horse. Cries of "Wod! Wod!" accompany this. (For modern non-farmer heathens buying corn, wheat, etc. and leaving it in a garden or field would be a good approximation.)
